Stwalley, BS, PharmD This practice-based workshop is designed for pharmacists and pharmacy students who have an interest in or are new to the provision of consultant pharmacist services in skilled nursing facilities. It is designed to help pharmacists gain the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective consultant pharmacist. This workshop encourages participants to apply the knowledge gained in the self-study materials. In addition to reviewing the regulations pertinent to consultant pharmacy practice, faculty will assist participants as they work through "real-life" activities of the consultant pharmacist, including medication regimen reviews, preventing and correcting regulatory deficiencies, and working effectively with surveyors. Participants must have completed the self-study portion of this program to participate in the live workshop. Program Elements

Live Program Participants must attend and actively participate in the live eight-hour workshop.
